At the end of May is one of the biggest energy conferences in the UK. Consuta Training will be visiting the show to visit all our current customers and look at discussing requirements with future clients . Our colleagues Renewable Advice will be exhibiting (D37)and some of our literature will be available from them. We look forward to meeting existing and future clients.

Blade surface finishes

Consuta are off next week to Hamburg to update our knowledge about blade surface finishes. We are taking a two day course run by ALEXIT BladeRep on their paint surface finish. This will then be used in our couses on blade repair and inspection. The paint system is produced by a company called Mankiewicz which has been around since the 1900.

Next week we will be running our next 2 daycourse on Introduction to Blade Inspection and Repair which is run on a bi – monthly basis. This is desgined to give potential people coming into the repair market an insight to what will be required, it is also gives a good grounding to those who wish to understand more about blades and the potential repairs. The Wind Farm Managers and utility suppliers would also gain an understaning of what repairs are being carried out on their turbines.

Consuta Training have teamed up with Renewable Advice to raise the standard for operational wind turbine blade composite training: inspection and repair.

Candidates that successfully complete our “Level 2:Wind Energy Advanced Technician ” will be provided with the opportunityto work with Renewable Advice*, a leading UK company that specialises in wind turbine blade inspection and repair.

2 day Introduction to Blade Inspection and Repair

Our latest course ran on the 18th – 19th Jan was well attended with 8 delegates. Comments ranged from ‘My expectations were met’ to ‘I understand alot more about inspection now’. Our next 2 day course will be in March with a Wind Energy Competant Technician on the 21st Feb (4days duration).
